Again, your local lovable loser returns for another update.

Alright, so I've been doing my homework and all that jazz. I'm pretty sure I'm getting good marks, so that's... good, haha. I have to wake up at six in the morning, and go to bed at nine. Or at least, that's when I'm sent upstairs. So there's barely any time to sketch during the day, other than if I get my homework done, dinner eaten, piano practiced, and some television watched. Or, I could always draw in class, but I'd get in trouble, since the teachers are old hags who don't appreciate art.

Ahh, piano. My new teacher looks like a Jewish Dwight Schrute. He's teaching me how to improvise, mostly, wince that's what I'll need to get into the Jazz(-hands) Band. He's also helping me alolng with the Maple Leaf Rag. Octaves, four flats, cramping and muscle-stretching chords... it sounds fricking awesome, but learning it's the hard part. There's a pattern to it, though. I just need to chain myself to the piano bench, it'll work out when I can't eat anything.

Back to the art scoop. I've been doing mainly doodles, but there's some art I'll be scanning, including a ref for a character who desperately needs one, and a familiar face or four. (*bandriot should know what I'm talking about!)
